Vacation Bible School was here!

Sunday through Thursday, June 19 – 23.

2011 VBS pictures:

Thank you for joining us last year at our VBS, August 8-12, 2010. The church lawn was transformed into a scene from ancient Egypt: Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace. The children had the opportunity to speak with Joseph (first in the prison, then in the palace), play traditional Egyptian games, try their hands at making bricks out of mud and straw, as well as creating jewelry, working with herbs and spices, and tasting foods. One evening we were visited by a camel and everyone who wanted to got to ride on it! The camel was accompanied by other animals one might have encountered in ancient Egypt.

As you can imagine, such an event requires much planning and help from volunteers. We would like to thank each and every one of our volunteers! We couldn’t provide this experience for the kids without you!

    Sunday Mornings:
    Sunday School 9:30 a.m.
    Worship 11:00 a.m.

    Nursery is provided. Children under seven years are welcome to remain in the sanctuary for worship or may choose to go to the Nursery after the Children’s Lesson.

    Open communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
