THE FALL CHURCH SALE

THE FALL CHURCH SALE: SEPTEMBER 29 & 30

Start cleaning your closets. The church rummage/collectible/consignment sale is just around the corner. Items for the sale can be dropped off in Fellowship Hall Sunday, Sept. 25—Wednesday, Sept. 28 by noon. We’re looking for household items, tools, toys, sports equipment, furniture, clothing and accessories like jewelry and purses. Fall décor and Halloween costumes are also good ideas. Please don’t donate outdated technology or old TVs. (They don’t sell!) In the consignment corner for specialty items, you can indicate your minimum price. At least 30% of the selling price will go to the church, but it can be more depending on your wishes. Specialty items are very attractive to many shoppers who do not ordi-narily attend these sales. We want to advertise these items in the local papers and on web sites. Please contact us with the description of the item by Sept. 6 so we can pre-pare the publicity. If you find something after that date, bring it along; we’ll still be happy to sell it for you. If you want your items that weren’t sold returned, please let us know that. All other items will be donated to a community organization. You won’t need to price your items for the sale. There will be a core group of pricers who will be busy that week taking care of that task. Suggestions for prices will be gladly accepted, but it’s not necessary.

SALE HOURS:

Tuesday—Thursday, September 29, 9:00 a.m. — 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Located in Fellowship Hall, First Presbyterian Church Alma

We need volunteers to help sort and price items prior to the sale, people to keep sale items straightened up, answer questions and be check outs during the sale. Please check your schedules, and plan a time to help. Sign up in the church office, or during coffee hour. The profits of this sale go toward the various ministries of our church. Thanks, in advance, for all your contributions! Need to move an item now? Contact Carol Rosan. If you have any questions or specialty items to be publicized, please contact: Anne Raleigh (NOTE NEW PHONE NUMBER: 989-941-7216) or the church office (463-2940).
